We are currently expanding our Facilities practice in Florida. As part of this growth, we are planning to add a mechanical/plumbing engineer located in Orlando, Florida. We are looking for an individual with strong plumbing design experience and is a self starter and can provide independent plumbing designs. Experience with fire protection design is highly desirable. Experience in the theme park, hospitality, commercial, education, aviation, healthcare, and municipal markets is highly desired.

Our top candidate has 5-15 years of plumbing design experience. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and the interest to be part of a fast-paced expanding work environment. A Florida Professional Engineers (PE) license is not required, but highly desired.

Minimum, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Must have current plumbing design experience (experience with fire protection design is highly desirable).
Must be independent and be able to progress a design from start to finish.
Experience with Revit and AutoCAD is required.
Must have strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work in a professional and interdisciplinary team environment is also required.

Minimum Education & Experience Required:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited engineering program.
5+ years of plumbing design experience, and experience in the theme park, hospitality, commercial, higher education, aviation, healthcare, and municipal markets highly desirable.
