The Industrial Engineer is responsible for implementing, documenting and improving production processes in regards to Safety, Quality, Production Efficiency, On Time Delivery and Internal and External Customer Satisfaction. The Industrial Engineer will have the opportunity to assess process risks and take actions to mitigate those risks through PFMEA, Risk Registers and other Tools. The Industrial Engineer will study, document and update process routings and operations.

Responsibilities:

Evaluates manufacturing processes, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors and maintenance.
Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing process outputs meet requirements.
Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
Maintains product and company reputation by ensuring compliance with government regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing assigned tasks correctly, completely and in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Requirements :

College diploma or University Degree in Engineering.
5 years working experience as a Process or Manufacturing or Industrial Engineer.
Possess high degree of mechanical aptitude and be very familiar with manufacturing methods and procedures.
Must be skilled at presenting technical information.
Must possess design skills in Autocad and or Solid Works.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
Must be able to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization, verbally and in writing.

Salary: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year.
