This position is an integral part of the Continuous Improvement team and reports to the Continuous Improvement Manager.

Responsibilities include:

Analyze and identify improvement opportunities, as well as guide and plan actions around improvement activities that close gap in safety and True North.
Assist leadership team with innovative efforts to identify and drive out waste in key processes and improve cycle time in support of safety, productivity, and quality targets;
Support on the deployment of 5S program;
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and training to standard work cycle charts; and
Partner with associates to implement ideas.

The ideal candidate will have:

3 to 5 years proven Lean Manufacturing knowledge, skills and experience within a manufacturing environment.
Excellent manufacturing background, and superior mechanical aptitude and proven problem solving skills.
Demonstrated experience in lean manufacturing techniques.
Competent in MS Office tools.
Competent AutoCAD skills.
Certificate in CME Lean Level I and/or CME Lean Level II (asset).
AutoCAD skills (asset).
