Seeking a Senior Engineer who will be responsible for aiding in the planning and design of public storm water and drainage related projects, including hydraulic modeling and design, river engineering and modeling, floodplain analysis, flood control, stream restoration, sedimentation and scour analysis, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and development of construction documents.

Qualifications:
The individual will be responsible for technical analysis of river crossings, client coordination, quality control and quality assurance for the drainage portions of transportation projects. May assist with business development and contract and scope development.

Education: BS degree in Civil Engineering

Experience:
Requires Colorado PE and 8-20 years experience. Knowledge of HEC-RAS, EPA-SWMM, SRH-2D, and
FEMA process is preferred.

Knowledge:
Working knowledge of CDOT, UDFCD, FHWA, and local municipality standards and processes is preferred.

Responsibilities:
Develop designs for major drainage crossings, river/streams restoration, channel revetments and scour countermeasures.
Prepare technical reports, letters, and memos related to drainage design.
Quality control and assurance checks for designs prepared by others.
Perform preliminary field investigations and gather existing data to develop drainage designs.
Assure that all submittals are in accordance with company production and design standards.
Develop scope and fees for drainage tasks.
Participate in marketing efforts, proposal writing, and presentations.
Other assignments as needed.
