Position Responsibilities Include:

Gathering project design information/criteria.
Performing project design calculations.
Structural analysis.
Pipe sizing.
Heat loss/gain.
Investigating and determining equipment selections.
Documenting hydronic and ammonia system (refrigeration) or HVAC system P&IDs.
Documenting project designs utilizing AutoCAD MEP software.
Support and maintain a safe & Lean work environment.
Other duties as assigned by Engineering Manager and as needed by refrigeration and HVAC engineering staff.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Skills & Experience Required:

Demonstrated interest in and understanding of the design of heat transfer/refrigeration and/or HVAC systems.
Students must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree in mechanical engineering and will preferably have completed at least 2 years of study.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proven organization and prioritizing skills.
Self-driven and motivated.
Strong problem solving skills.
