Seeking one Roadway/Highway Engineer for work in our Greenwood Village Colorado office. The selected candidate will work in our Roadway Design group on exciting transportation related roadway projects including: highway, interchange, urban and rural arterial
roadway and transit projects. Job duties include roadway layout, construction phasing, estimating quantities, utility coordination, and specification writing for transportation projects.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education: BS degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience:
2 to 10 years of experience in roadway/highway design EI or P.E. Required.

Knowledge:
General knowledge of roadway design elements.
Experience using AASHTOs, A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets.
Experience using AAHSTOs, Roadside Design Guide.
Experience using CDOT design guides and standards.
Experience with MicroStation & InRoads.

Work Experience:
This position is a transportation roadway engineering position requiring a BS in Civil Engineering with course work in transportation engineering and/or work experience in civil engineering or transportation related field.
Experience as designer on roadway and highway projects is necessary. Working knowledge of local Colorado design practices including CDOT, local Cities and Counties standards is desirable. Experience with traffic engineering and drainage design a plus.
